5. For the Sake of Argument

Lots of people use subway these days. And do you know how many accidents exist in subway station in last year? It’s 198. Pretty much, isn’t it? But it was only 75 in 2006. Could you guess why it increased so much? The answer is etiquette of escalator.  Seoul metropolitan rapid transit corporation (SMRT) made people to stand on the right and left-hand side is left for walking people. Since 2008 they change policy again to stand in 2lines, but it’s not to make people’s habit change again. Let’s stand in 2-lines while taking escalator. I strongly recommend it. I think we should try to change our habit for ourselves.

First, escalator is so related with our safety. Accidents of escalator are almost 90% of total accidents in subway station. Therefore SMRT concentrate to escalator. The most important thing is accidents come from our carelessness and increasing of moving in escalator makes higher probability of accident. To avoid accident, we should stand in 2-lines and don’t walk or run in escalator.

Another reason is about some people are saying like standing 2-lines in escalator is too selfish, because it blocks busy people. That could be true. But if I’m busy, I’ll take stairs instead of escalator. For use escalator we have to wait the line and then we have to walk with risk of accident. Also we have to share its risk. I can’t understand those people who is busy and don’t take stairs. Almost every time stairs which is next to the escalator are free. If your legs are fine, please take stairs instead of escalator for your health, to avoid risk, and save your time. Then we all could be happy.

Last one is mechanical trouble of escalator. Left the side for busy people makes unbalance of the escalator and that unbalance becomes to break down. It makes us uncomfortable and wastes our money.

I know it’s not easy. People who are behind of us usually blame us. But to change this habit we need time and our effort. At first it could be unfamiliar to them, but publicity of SMRT and our effort can change our kind of habit. And it will save us from accident.

4. A Short Personal Story

Sometimes the happen goes absolutely different with what we expect.
Here is my own panic and scary incident and
I’m quite sure nobody has experience like mine.
I remember I was 10 years old and that day started like so normal days.
But After the school, it begun.

I was going home with one of my friends; Lee.
While passing the gate of our school Lee said,
“Why don’t we drop by Dure bookstore?” and I replied, “Ok.”
Dure bookstore is small bookstore which is nearby my home.
So I thought it doesn’t take lots of time.
But in that moment I didn’t know it’ll be out of my expectation.
Some minutes later, Lee said “Ah, I don’t have enough of money.
I’m sorry but can we drop by my home, first? Again I replied, “Ok.”
We walked and finally arrived Lee’s home.
He entered his home and got out with his mother.
I felt little strange but I thought “I’ll be fine.”
We started go to Dure bookstore.
Few minutes later, again I felt strange more.
Because the direction wasn’t familiar to me.
Finally, I realized it’s too late to go home and thought they’re taking me somewhere.
Suddenly I started crying with imagining my mother’s angry face.
Lee’s mother embarrassed and asked me “Why are you crying?”
I replied, “Where are we going? I’m too late to go home.”
She laughed and bought some waffles to me and Lee.
Also she said, “Lee, you go with Soo to his home and I’ll buy your book.”
We walked to my home and eating waffles. Finally I arrived safely.

The truth was ‘Durebak bookstore’ was nearby my house and
‘Dure bookstore’ was very big bookstore and little far away from my house.
This happening is from my wrong memory of bookstore’s name.
After this incident I changed to be positive to question which isn’t sure or I don’t know.
Because if I’m not sure the results could be so bad.

3. Describe a setting

I really like baseball. Specially I like cheer my team and shout in baseball stadium.
I often go to baseball game.  It's so good to throw away my stress.
Last week, I went Jamsil baseball stadium with my friends.
Jamsil baseball stadium is the biggest baseball stadium in the Korea.
Outside of the stadium I just could see the white cement wall
But got inside the stadium and looked at the field,
I could feel the urban extensive nature.
Because it has large grass, dirt and many of seats. It makes feel free.
Also the players they made me feel like I'm standing on the ground by watching them. There were so many people inside it and even outside.
Cheering with lots of people is more exciting than little of people.
The weather was little cold but It was very good to watch the game.
I ate some hamburgers with friends. It was good but I thought pizza is best in stadium. Because pizza is simple and it's delicious even cold.
The game was quiet one side and Doosan bears won.
After the game I went back to my home by subway.
Subway station is very close to stadium. It's one of the good things of it.
If you're stressed, how about spend your weekend in Jamsil baseball stadium?
I'm sure you will be the least stressful person after visit it.

He's a team star of Hanhwa Eagles and one of a legend of 30 year's KBO history.
45 is a Eagles retired number which was his number.

First, he is so famous by his unbelievable effort and passion of baseball.
In he's house, on the side of floor has dent like his foot print. It caused by he's swing exercise.
Think about it. Could you imagine dent made by swing exercise?

Second he's famous by his personality.
One day in a game a ball hit pitcher's face which is hit by Jang jong hun.
It was terrible accident and he ran to the unfortunately pitcher even he could out on first base.
That time he was beating with another hitters to take a batting title.
So he out on the first base and loose his average. After the pennant race he couldn't take batting title.
After that accident, every time pitcher who was hit by the ball bows with take off his cap to him for shows respect.

He is a high school graduates.
He could study in university after success. But he decided to don't go to university.
Because he was people who is high school graduates's hope and kind of restorative drink.
From he's success story they could be more brave and hopeful.
He worried about studying in university could break a thought which is high school graduates can do everything.

I like his a touching stroy and always i want act like what he acted.
I think his the most admirable thing is passion of goal and his endless effort.
